Currently: Job hunting and doing freelance product work for Theatrely and finalizing the design and website development for No Pool Productions
Hi I’m Zach! I’m a product generalist with a background in the media and entertainment space. My work wears many hats — design, strategy, computer science — but are all in pursuit of creating and supporting projects I care about. Exploration guides my creative process, and I do my best work when I can truly learn about and empathize with the people I’m designing for.
I’m currently a freelance product designer for Theatrely, a Broadway media company, where I am redesigning their social media templates, among other projects. Previously, I was a product intern at Dow Jones and also spent eight months as a product manager at Boston Globe Media. I graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters in experience design after completing my Bachelors degree in computer science + design in three years.
In my free time, I like to discover new music, watch baseball, explore cities with my camera, and see Operation Mincemeat on Broadway arguably more often than a person should.

We created an app called “around town” to encourage discovery in the arts with events that are happening around town. Our system turns the experience of finding local activities into a social experience that gets more people into the arts in Boston.

I take a design systems approach to the Broadway system and attempt to answer why Broadway shows have a hard time recouping their investment.

The AI whiteboard is a digital whiteboarding tool with a built-in constructivist AI that can only guide students to the answer, but physically interact with the canvas itself.

I created the playbill and digital program for a licensed production of Merrily We Roll Along, produced by Boston University On Broadway.

Fantasy Sportsball is a new card game where you compete with your friends to see who can best predict what will happen this upcoming Super Bowl — commercials and all.

Catalog8H is a social cataloging tool (think Letterboxd) for SNL sketches. I created a high-fidelity digital prototype, brand system, and component library.

Pitch is a design kit made up of cards that provide journalists with a structured brainstorming method for story ideas.
